This is one of the most exciting Korean spot that opened in recent month since Miga.
Why?
So, back in the day, dabang (다방) wasn’t just a coffee shop. It was where poets, musicians, and blind dates all collided over sweet “dabang coffee.” Fast forward and the word is reborn as Youth Dabang (청년다방), where the soundtrack isn’t jazz records but with tteokbokki pan. And somehow, it all still feels connected.
The same goes for retro snacks like Salad Bread (사라다빵), a bun stuffed with potato salad that sounds wrong but tastes so right, and twisted donut (꽈배기), a twisted sugar donut every Korean kid grew up chasing after school. Even the shimmering mother-of-pearl (자개) in old furniture has that same energy: everyday things turned into heritage. And now you can all experience at #angeldabang
And I never thought I would say this, but kimbap was a real surprise. They use salad brad ingredients in kimbap and it tasted unique yet so tasty. And I loved bulgogi and egg may salad bread. And you cannot really beat £1.5 twisted donut. The owner said because it’s a local business, he is trying to keep the price as low as possible.
ℹ️ One of our follower, @hsuweich , told me about it. So I reached out to Angel Dabang for collaboration.
