If you’re ever in Taman Danau Desa, there’s a little hidden gem that deserves a spot on your foodie radar – 𝐉𝐞𝐦𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐟é.😍

Located on the first floor above Hair Atelier, this cosy neighborhood café has actually been around for almost 10 years! Yet, this was my very first time dining here – and I must say, I was impressed. 👍🏻

It’s a warm, family-run business helmed by a husband-and-wife team. The chef (hubby) works his magic in the kitchen, while his friendly and chatty wife, Anna, makes diners feel right at home. 😍

What I love most is that the portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the flavours are truly satisfying. 😋🤤

A must-try! The broth was thick, creamy, and wonderfully aromatic. The seafood toppings were generous, with prawns, clams, and the addictive deep-fried squid tentacles that we couldn’t stop munching on.

One of my favourites! Made with housemade pesto, the pasta was rich, creamy, and full of flavour. The smoky duck pieces elevated the dish beautifully – a perfect marriage of textures and taste.

Another standout. A chunky, golden-breaded fried chicken thigh sat atop fluffy rice, served with fragrant Japanese curry. Comfort food at its best, and the portions were more than generous!

Jemi Café may be a little under the radar, but it’s absolutely worth seeking out. With generous portions, great value, and a menu that spoils you with choices, this cozy café proves why it has been a neighbourhood favourite for almost a decade. 🔥🔥
